I found this book hard to get into because of the number of characters and how frequently the point of view jumped around initially. Once I figured out who most of the characters were and felt like I was getting a handle on things, the book changed focus again and introduced more (end of Part 1). Finally, I found myself unable to really connect with any of the characters or figure out who I should root for/against. I enjoyed reading the book and some aspects of the author’s writing, but I don’t have any desire to read the next in the series.
